Jerry Trimble Helicopters is proud to offer housing to students training with us. The following are the options we currently offer:

JTH Duplex is an older fully furnished duplex that is close to downtown McMinnville. Both units have 2 bedrooms and sleep 2 people. Each bedroom is $35/night. Both units have a washer/dryer.

JTH 1st Street Student House has been recently remodeled and is fully furnished, located two blocks away from downtown McMinnville. This house sleeps up to 4 people and has a washer/dryer. Rates depend on which room is available. The shared twin bedroom is $20/night and the bigger bedroom is $35/night. Call for details.

JTH Cottage is fully furnished single bedroom house near downtown McMinnville.

JTH Muddy Dog Ranch is home to a Barn Apartment. The MDR is located about 20 mins. away from the McMinnville Airport in Sheridan, OR. Perfect for students who want the peace and quiet of the countryside and don’t mind a little drive. The Barn Apartment is a fully furnished 2-twin bed apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer available for $45/night. Enjoy gorgeous sunrises over Mt. Hood and sunsets over the Coast Range.

Disclosure: Limited rooms are available, call at least a month in advance to be placed in JTH Housing.

Hotels Available in the McMinnville Area

McMenamins Hotel, is located at 310 Evans McMinnville (503-472-8427). This iconic hotel is located on historic 3rd Street in downtown McMinnville. The rooms are affordable and have a European feel. There are no TVs in the rooms and some have common bathrooms. Located about three miles from the airport.

The Comfort Inn & Suites is the newest and closest hotel to the airport. This is a modern hotel and is very nice. It comes with a hot breakfast served each morning. It is located at 2520 SE Stratus Ave McMinnville (503-472-1700). This hotel is about a mile from the airport. Rates vary depending on the season.

The Red Lion Inn & Suites is across the street from the Comfort Inn and is right next to McDonald's. It is similar to the Comfort Inn. It is located at 2535 NE Cumulus Ave McMinnville (503-472-1500). Rates vary depending on the season.

Old Stone Village RV Park is across the street from the airport. It is very convenient for those students that can bring your home with you. Rates and availability depend on the season.

Vintages RV Park This RV park is great for those here long term or for just a couple of days. If you have your own RV, The Vintages has large spaces ready to be moved into for $650 + electric. Prices vary depending on season and RV. Visit the-vintages.com for more information.
