One of the funnest places to stay in McMinnville is McMenamins Hotel Oregon, 310 Evans McMinnville 503-472-8427 .  They are located on historic 3rd Street in downtown McMinnville.  They are affordable and the rooms have a European feel.  I don't think they have TV or radios in the rooms and some have common bathrooms, not for everyone.  Located about three miles from the airport.  Daily Rates $50 - $75/day McMenamins  The Comfort Inn & Suites is the newest and closest to the airport.   This is a modern motel and very nice.  It is more expensive but nice with TV, etc.  Set up better for the businessman.  2520 SE Stratus Ave Mcminnville 503-472-1700.  They are about a mile from the airport.  Daily Rates $80/day.  Rates vary depending on season.  Click the link below to check current prices. The Comfort Inn The Red Lion Inn & Suites is across the street from the Comfort Inn and is right next to McDonalds.  Similar to the Comfort Inn 2535 NE Cumulus Ave McMinnville 97128  503-472-1500.  Daily Rates $80.00.  Rates vary depending on season.  Click the link below to check current prices. The Red Lion Best Western Vineyard Inn is located on the west side of town at 2035 S. Highway 99 W McMinnville, OR.  It is about 4 miles from the airport.  800-285-6242  Daily Rates $94.00.  Best Western Vineyard Inn  The Baker Street Inn is a restored Craftsman-style home with 3 guest rooms near the historic downtown district of McMinnville.  They also have a cottage that is available as well.  The cottage even accepts pets (with prior approval).  The rates change depending on the season.  We've had great reports from students about this Inn.  Give them a call and try it out. A local Bed and Breakfast we like is Martha's Vineyard West.  The owner, Martha, lives onsite and manages the B&B.  A continental breakfast is included.  The rates vary depending on the season, but are always very reasonable especially for longer stays. If you are interested in staying longer and want to rent a room we have had good luck with a historic downtown house located at 605 NE First Street, McMinnville Oregon, For more info contact Phyllice at 503-474-3235 or 971-237-7564hey rent rooms for $580-$680 per month with everything included except your own food.  They have a two week minimun but if you are on a week package with JTH you can call and try and work out a shorter stay.  You can also try Phyllice at pbradner@verizon.net There is also an RV park directly across the street from the airport.  It is very convenient for those of you that can bring your home with you. The McMinnville Airport has a camping area at the west end of the field for those of you that are inclined to commune with nature during your stay.
