Home of the $10 Helicopter Ride  offered from May 1st thru October 31  Every Saturday morning weather permitting, at 10AM, we offer $10 helicopter rides at the McMinnville Airport. The ride lasts from 2.5-3 minutes as we fly you around the Spruce Goose located at the Evergreen Museum.  The helicopter can carry only the pilot and one passenger at a time.  All rides are dependent on weather. Just stop by Cirrus Aviation at the McMinnville airport, ask for Jerry and we'll get you signed up.  We have a weight limit of 220 lbs. Children that have not reached their second birthday have to be held, two and over have to be belted in.  We fly until there is nobody else to fly.  If you would like a longer flight we would be happy to schedule one.  For the shorter rides just add $5.00 for each additional minute after the initial three minute $10.00 ride.  For instance a five minute ride would cost a total of $20.00 15 minute flight would  cost $70.00 20 minute flight would cost $95.00 30 minute flight would cost $125.00 Any flight beyond 30 minutes would be billed out at a rate of $250/hour and prorated to tenths of  an hour.  For example a 48 minute flight would be .8 times $250 or $200.00 All flights take off and return to the McMinnville airport, scenic flights have to stay within a 25 statue mile radius of the McMinnville airport.
